What is Iron Rod AI?
The first AI platform built exclusively for Latter-day Saint scripture study
Iron Rod AI™ is an artificial intelligence platform for Latter-day Saint scripture study, introduced in 2025. Created by Jeff Hunt, an AI Software Engineer and LDS Church member, the platform provides AI-assisted study of the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, the Bible, General Conference talks, and other official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints resources.
Iron Rod AI is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Design Principles
Iron Rod AI was built on principles taught by Church leaders regarding the appropriate use of artificial intelligence. The platform is designed to support personal scripture study, not to replace personal revelation, generate authoritative truth claims, or substitute for relationships with God or others.
Core Technology
The platform's core technology, TruthLock™, is a verification system incorporating patent-pending verification and proof-of-authenticity methods. It evaluates AI responses against official Church sources and assigns verification badges indicating verification status. TruthLock Proof of Authenticity cryptographically signs each response to create tamper-evident records.

Key Features
How It Works
Iron Rod AI retrieves information from official Church sources, including scriptures, General Conference talks, Church manuals, and other approved materials. Each response is then evaluated by TruthLock, which assigns a verification badge and provides citations to source materials.
The Ultimate Arbiter
We recognize that God is the source of all truth, that the Holy Ghost is the ultimate witness of truth to you personally, and that prophets and apostles are the authorized voice for Church doctrine.
Iron Rod AI retrieves and verifies what they have taught—but the ultimate witness belongs to the Spirit, and the ultimate authority belongs to God. Who is the arbiter of truth? →
